PGA CityGolf, endorsed by The Professional Golfers’ Association, allows company directors and owners to become corporate partners with some of the best golf courses in their area.

Corporate Golfers who purchases a package benefit from advertising their services on their chosen golf club’s PGA CityGolf website page, and are charged as such. In return, they are granted the right to play golf on their chosen course on a complimentary basis (see details below) after taking a tour of the facility and having their game assessed by the PGA professional. Following this introductory stage, tuition can be arranged if required.

Once approved by the PGA professional and/or Golf Club manager, the Corporate Golfer then receives a Pass Card that is exclusive to the club, which he/she can use to entertain corporate clients and colleagues, enjoying golf during the club’s off-peak periods and significantly boosting revenues in the club’s bar and restaurant. Normally, a PGA CityGolf package will include a cap of 8 rounds per month per club (which cannot be carried forward), so these rounds have little impact on the club’s normal course activity.

The Corporate Golfer’s booking is always subject to availability within the next 5 days, so the club can be sure that he or she will only be taking up unused tee times.

The clubs receive a fee for joining PGA CityGolf and also benefit by attracting more local corporate golfers through their doors to enjoy the game during the club’s quiet periods, thus introducing more potential members to the particular charms of that club and course.

Not surprisingly, the PGA CityGolf scheme has been a huge success since its launch in 2001. To date, around 30,000 company directors and owners have subscribed to the scheme and well over 200 clubs throughout the UK have joined PGA CityGolf, and that number is increasing every week.
