At 6511yards from the white tees, Belmont Lodge offers a great test for every golfer who takes on its undulating form and inspired grandeur. The overwhelming feeling you get around the estate is just how quiet the location is; you can actually hear the river flowing by you and the trees whistling. The flora and fauna go about their daily business all around you whilst you concentrate on your game. Idyllic.
The course is fascinating both front and back and is maintained to an extremely high standard. The members are friendly and down to earth and the setting is aweinspiring. If only I lived a little nearer...
