FAVOURITE HOLE
I do like a long downhill par 3 especially with a view behind the green and the 6th is a joy. The view is spectacular and with the sun shining over the large green below I could hit hundred balls onto it. Not sure the green keepers would be too
keen on that idea - but you get my drift!
VERDICT
Halesowen has generated a reputation as a tricky course with excellent greens and a fascinating layout and I wasn’t disappointed. As predicted it was wonderfully picturesque throughout and manicured to perfection. The greens were excellent and the drainage system has obviously been working well for a number of years as there wasn’t a damp patch to be seen
anywhere. The clubhouse is beautiful and the members are accommodating and friendly to all and I couldn’t recommend it more.
